The Kidizoom camera has 16MB of built-in memory plus it is expandable up to a 2GB using a Secure Digital (SD) memory card (not included). Using this memory card will allow you to save even more photos and movies! The camera also comes with a USB port and cable so Kidizoom camera can be connected to your home PC for viewing photos and movies, editing photos, or photo printing. To save battery life, the VTech Kidizoom will automatically turn off after 1 to 2 minutes when it has been left alone. The camera can be turned on again by pressing the chunky ON/OFF button. This is another great feature of the Kidizoom camera as the simple buttons are really easy for small fingers to operate.
The VTech Kidizoom digital camera comes complete with creative Photo Workshop software for the PC which allows basic editing functions including stamps, distortion effects and photo frames. It's not quite Photoshop but your kids will love playing with the photos after they've taken them. The Photo Editor also allows voice-overs to be added to the pictures. How cool is that? The VTech Kidizoom digital camera also comes with three built-in games - Tic Tac Toe, Rotation Puzzle and Matching Pairs. These fun games are played on the camera viewfinder or can be played on a TV when the Kidizoom camera is attached using the cable supplied.
